Indoor air quality is becoming an issue of growing concern for leaders in industry. Employees need to be protected from the increasing dangers posed by the rapid transfer of viruses in the work-place. These viruses can range from the deadly effects of tuberculosis to regular influenza.
Viruses have the potential to move with great speed and with devastating effects. The normal intervention is to vaccinate, but it takes many years to develop a vaccine.
Infection is spread in many ways, the two most common being contact and inhalation. Historically, regular surface cleaning and hand washing have been the accepted ways to combat infection rates.
